Location: Serendipity Studio, 6191 Mountainside Drive, Hickory, NC
We work with recycled glass and/or sea glass to make a pendant necklace OR earrings. Students can bring their own sea glass if they have it, or can use what is provided made from tumbled glass which is similar to sea glass. We’ll learn how to drill glass, use basic wire wrapping techniques including using a jig, and basic jewelry making skills to finish a glass necklace. We’ll work with copper wire but students can upgrade to silver for an additional fee from the instructor Students with jewelry making supplies are invited to bring them or they can share what is provided. If time permits students can also make earrings for an additional fee.
Additional jewelry supplies will be available and can be purchased from the instructor.
